Hey, everyone! Sorry for the long period in-between blogs. I was traveling across the country, and after my hometown holiday parade, in which I was the Grand Marshall, I caught a little flu bug. In fact, the other 27 people who we spent Thanksgiving with caught it as well. Luckily it wasn’t food poisoning, because I did quite a bit of the cooking for Turkey Day! In fact, I learned how to make a couple new dishes: Scalloped Corn, Green Bean Casserole, and a German Chocolate Cake (from scratch)! If I preferred the taste of coconut shavings a little more, I would’ve tried the chocolate-y goodness and told you how it was. But, there’s something about that texture! No worries, I’ll learn to appreciate it one day!  

 

Anyways, onto business. And when I say business, I’m talkin’ black-tie, top-secret, super official business. I’m headed to America’s capital, Washington D.C., to visit the White House! There’s a conference involving young adults who have begun using their influence to help make a difference, and my friend Zach Hunter is speaking. I can’t imagine speaking at such an important place, where so many presidents have lived! Maybe I’ll deliver a speech there someday…better start brushing up on my U.S. Government! While I’m there, I’ll take the train to Richmond to visit Encore dance studio where I’ll teach two masterclasses. And, when I travel back up to D.C. that night, I’ll get to visit Mike Johnson (FROM MIKE’S SUPER SHORT SHOW)! He attends George Washington Academy…well, I shouldn’t only say “attends”…it’s a better fit to say he “excels” at GWA. Keep an eye out for him…I know he’ll be accomplishing great things in the future!
