Sunrise Day Camp is a place where children with cancer and their siblings can go, free of charge, and enjoy a summer filled with fun, friendship, and activities. This year they’re having their 5th Annual Walkathon, “Walk to Help the Sun Rise”, and I’m thankful to not only be participating, but also doing an autograph signing and visiting with the kids during the event. There will be complimentary refreshments and entertainment beforehand. Then after, a full-blown FINISH LINE CELEBRATION ensues with music, food, crafts, and games!! It’s open to EVERYONE, so please bring your family and friends out to the event on Sunday, June 6th! More details are below:

And lastly, by raising money and securing sponsors, you can receive special awards like iPod videos and/or 2 round-trip airline tickets!! So start a competition between your friends to see who can raise the most money and get the “coolest” prize!
