Fan Mail!!
February 7, 2008Hey everyone! So, I got back from my agent’s office the other day, and I picked up my fanmail while I was there. I read a couple letters, and took the rest home. Although I’m extremely behind, I do continue to read as many letters as my schedule allows.
I just wanted to say how truly appreciative I am for each letter that’s sent to me. I may not have been able to respond to yours, but know that every note I receive makes me more grateful for all you guys supporting me out there. I do want to give a special thank you to Jenny W.! Your notes, Jenny, are very kind and special…thank you!
Well, as for what’s going on with me right now, I’m choreographing a dance routine for this “thing” I’m doing…top-secret! Then, Alice Upside Down has been asked to open the International Family Film Festival in LA this month! Also, I’m almost done designing my dance shoe, which I’m stoked about! Then, there’s a ton of Camp Rock promos that I’ve been doing with the other cast members!…And, my singing! Everything is really kicking into high-gear! And because of YOU all, I’ve been pursuing my dreams and reaching my goals!
Couldn’t have done it without you!!!

What I’m up to is lots of sports, right now I’m in school basketball, club volleyball, and softball clinics.
and I’m babysitting abit and hanging out with by friends as much as possible.

Hey!! thats really good Alyson that things are going very well for you. Im really happy for you, and its good that your getting the chance to read your fanmail. Well for me this weekend im going back home to Las Vegas again with a friend thats going with me to spend the weekend, since i have not been spending that much time there but ima come back home sunday night to santa monica. I also gonna go see the movie There Will Be Blood since i seen so many others but have not gotten the chance to see that one, which ppl have been giving really good reviews and i like also think Daniel Day-Lewis is a really great actor. I also been watching “Phineas and Ferb” on disney channel pretty much its the only show i watch there right now, its pretty good and i think it feels original how the cartoons where in the 90’s my favorite memories. Just noticed the time on the comment, I’m not up that early, it’s 13:58 in the UK right now
i’m going about to go for my second performance of my huge school Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat today! but don’t think that just because it’s a school play that it’s boring…our director was on broadway, and she is the greatest thing that has ever happened to our school. people from all over town come to see it, even if they don’t go to school with us. and not to toot my own horn (because it’s the horn of everyone at my school…haha), but TOOT-TOOT! our director failed to inform us until this year that for the last 4 years, we have been accepted to represent all the high school drama teams in the nation and go to SCOTLAND (that’s right…IN EUROPE!!!!!!!) and perform at the most prestigious competition in the world! unfortunately, we don’t have the money, and mrs. connie (director) is too modest to tell the rich people at my school…haha. and to think, we could have been acting with the greatest actors on the planet, but mrs. connie believes that acting is about “giving the gift”, our gift, to the audience.
anyway, last night was opening night and it was amazing! it was the greatest experience of my life! i’m having so much fun with it, but it only lasts until tomorrow. i have 2 performances today and 1 tomorrow.
thank you for always following your dreams, because you have always inspired me to follow mine! you are such an inspiration, and i’m so glad things are finally taking off for you! thank you for giving your gift! i’m praying that you will continue to be successful, and not like the britney type…haha. you’re doing such a great job!

Sounds like you’re having a lot of fun with all the promos coming up. I’m very busy at the moment- I have my first leading role in awhile… I haven’t had one for about a year and a half. Though it doesn’t take a lead role to make me happy, it definitely doesn’t hurt! I’m playing Ida Bidson in a play version of The Secret School (which was originally a novel by Avi). I’m having so much fun, and I’m so sad that it’ll be over at the end of the month.
Well, that’s the theatre life, I guess.

Wow, it seems like you have been seriously busy lately Alyson! I’d like to say congratulations for all of your success. I’m happy that things are really skyrocketing for you right now. I think if you really do keep working hard at it, striving towards your goals, than you really can make a mark in history!
Also, is there anything you can tell us about your singing career? I really would like to hear anything, besides Baby It’s You from when you were like ten years old lol.
As for myself, I am doing a new play that was actually written not very long ago and will be the lead for the very first performed production. I’m also, doing a few student films, one involving a kidnapping and I am the one who is kidnapped! I’m very interested in that role, especially since the Natalee Holloway case has been reopned even though I think Joran will get away with it (sneaky, sneaky boy)

As for me, I’m playin basketball (first place in my CYO league) and conditioning for spring lacrosse (I’m the only girl on my team). And I’m one of the leads a play. I want to let you know your singing has really inspired me and a few years ago when I first heard your music I tried out for my first musical and I’ve gotten the lead ever since. I’ve been acting a bit lately too (also thanks to you) but no luck yet. Any advice you have would be GREAT if you could spare the time.

Hey!!! what have i been up to lately? well, because you have inspired me to dance, i started in september. In the past few months i have co-choreographed my hip-hop dance, and guess what? the director of the studio has asked me to do a solo tap routine for the grand finale of the recital!!! so that’s what i’m working on right now! thank you soooo much for being such a great role model, you’re great. keep it up!!!

Hey Aly I just wanted to say you inspired me a lot the day I saw Cheaper By The Dozen 2 you inspired me to try and fulfill my dreams and I got accepted to a modeling/acting place but I couldn’t go I was to busy with softball. I have been playing Softball since 1st grade and now I’m in 7th grade. I’m 12 I’ll be 13 in June. I feel the same way you do I’m a huge tomboy but now that I’m in Jr. High I feel like I have to change the way I am to impress people.I learned that I don’t have to I just need to be myself it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks about me. You are so lucky to be working with the Jonas Brothers they are inspiring too. They taught me that no matter what anyone does I can get through it. They also told me that love matters but it’s not as important as family I love them like my brothers which I wish they were cause then we could hang out.
