As Camp Rock nears… + Special Dance Instructional Video!
May 26, 2008As the air date for Camp Rock creeps closer and closer, I can’t help but think of everything happening in my life right now. It’s becoming increasingly busy, and my schedule is starting to reflect that of an overbooked nail salon– writing in multiple appointments for one time-slot. 
But, at the end of each day, I can mellow out to some Colbie Caillat, and think about how blessed I am to be in this position. Luckily, I’ve come across great fans, who’ve showed sincere support. And that, ladies and gentleman, means the world to us kids in the biz. I promise. Because, truthfully, where would I be without Disney Channel? And where would Disney Channel be without viewers…that’s YOU!Â
Aside from acting, dancing, and singing lessons, I’ve managed to continue my education, which can only benefit me in the long run. Looking at Natalie Portman and Jodie Foster, two of the most talented actresses, it becomes obvious that school opens up opportunities for us, and in order to perform my best, I have to be able to comprehend the material I’m given, right? So, despite my career, I’ve managed to keep my priorities in check–School, Family, then Career.Â
There’s less than a month until Camp Rock comes out, and following that is Alice Upside Down, the Alyson Stoner Project, many new episodes of Phineas & Ferb, my dance shoe with Bloch, my singing, and various campaigns that I’ll be a part of! It’s tremendous, and I’m so thankful! My family’s showed unconditional support, and I’m grateful to have friends *and fans* like I do! So, thank you all!

Hello Alyson!! wow those were some inspirational words and i totally agree with you that school is way more important, it does help out in the long run and you are very young right now, you still have alot of time to finish your school and then start a really good career. Alot of stars in the business thier carrers dont always take off big when thier young some get really big and are in big porjects when they are in thier mid twenties or in their early thirties. So what im saying is i completly agree with you and that you still have alot ahead of you and i know your gonna have a great career and do alot of awesome things in the future. in acting, though i have little experience. ive gottan ALOT of
advice but i still cant find that starting point to lead me. im
not sure whether i should get classes first or just go
and find auditions which is also pretty hard in ct. do you
have any advice or suggestion that can help me out ? i
also found this website to send in a resume and headshot
in to audition/be an extra for camp rock2. i would love to
do that because i also believe i will learn from watching
others. the only problem is i need to get a headshot some
where and i dont know when submissions end. if you
ever find out about films needing extras let me know
i may not have much experience as others, but i am willing
to try and give it my all.

I work for Radio Disney Chicago and we have given this DVD out as a prize at a couple of events. I have never feared for my own precious eardrums when giving away a prize before. The kids just go ape for this DVD. It’s crazy and I love all of the extra features. I can’t wait to give it away as gifts for Christmas or birthdays.
