Back Up and Running!
I apologize for the recent “hacking” of my site. Unfortunately, someone found a way around to it, but my amazing webmaster Rachel helped get everything back to normal! DON’T FORGET TO WATCH THE SNEAKPEEK OF CAMP ROCK TONIGHT! And for those who live in the timezone where it’s already showed, hope you enjoyed it! I don’t even know what it’ll be about…so excited!Â
California, Dallas, London, oh my!
What better way to kick off the New Year than traveling around the globe! I’ll get to hang around my home in LA for another week or so, then off to the Dallas, Texas for the Kids’ Fest Film Festival. They’re going to be showing a screening of Alice Upside Down, so if you’d like to see it, come on down! Then from there, I’ll fly to London for a press junket for Phineas & Ferb. Did you know that the sneak peek of the show was the 3rd most watched show in 2007? All because of you guys! You’re the ones who made that happen, so I thank you for supporting the show! Can’t wait for everyone to see the real series!
Just wanted to thank you all for supporting me with my journey to pursue my dreams. This business is so much more than a “glamorous lifestyle” or “easy job”… it takes dedication, perserverance, and commitment. This is exactly what I’ll be telling aspiring actors at the IMTA convention in LA tomorrow night! Then, on Friday, Lindsay, Johnny, Khameron, and I will perform on stage in front of all the contestants at the convention!
AND GUESS WHAT… there’s a behind the scenes clip of my “Alice Upside Down” movie online, and it can be seen at this link: http://youtube.com/watch?v=0VHjfpDDS2I. Or on the Build a Bear website!
And remember, this is the only blog I have. I don’t have a Myspace, Facebook, Xanga, Penpal, screenname, e-mail, or any of those things…seriously! So do not believe anyone who you talk to on the internet if they say they’re me. Unless it’s from here, it could be false information! Thanks
Alyson
I’m a Disney Kid! Also, an important message. Read it all, plz. :D
I completed the press for Phineas and Ferb, my newest animated project! Being around such phenomenal actors and actresses like Ashley Tisdale, Mitchel Musso, Vincent Martella, and Caroline Rhea was an absolute blessing! Not only are they all extremely talented, but to top it all off, they’re gracious, sweet and definitely know how to work the camera!! I need to take some lessons from Miss Ashley..she looks fantastic~
NEWSSS! NEWSSS! NEWSSS!
If you’re in Ohio, and are free November the 24th, they will be screening my movie, Alice Upside Down, at the Maumee Indoor Theater at 10 AM, and then later that day, at 5 pm, I will be performing with Lindsay Taylor and some great friends/dancers at the Tree Lighting Ceremony at Town Center at Levis Commons.. both events are open to public, so please stop by!
Anyways, I’d just like to take a second and write about everythinggg going on. I have to say that I never expected anything like this to happen. My dream has expanded, and I want to do/try so many things, go so many places, meet so many people. But the best part is, now I understand that everything I dreamt of is POSSIBLE. I’ve been working hard (not just on jobs, but on myself!), and taking smart risks, and surrounding myself with determined people (with good morals, especially), and they’ve helped me see my potential! I don’t EVER expect fame, fortune, or any form of glory *AT ALL*, because I think the biggest reward is accomplishing the goals that you’ve been trying so hard to reach, not the paycheck at the end. Sure, that’s a bonus, but once I started being thankful for what came my way, I began to make the most of each oppurtunity. I have to be patient, and things will never come easy, so you have to realize that the best things in life are the ones you worked hard for! And once they’re yours to keep, you should cherish them with all your heart! Now that I have my family, friends, education, health, and other things, I see that I’m so fortunate!
During this holiday season, I encourage you to look around your neighborhood. Pick 10 things to be grateful for, and don’t make them boring. For instance, be grateful that you have clean water to drink, or the ability to stand, sit, walk around. I have friends who do not have that capability anymore, but they don’t let that get them down! They find other things in life to think positively about!… This holiday season, give back to your community! I plan to clean out my closets and give loads of clothes to families in need. Plus, I’ll do little things like picking up trash that someone else threw down, or cleaning the house… every little bit counts! And once you start, it’s hard to stop! It’s helped me develop a whole new outlook on life. I mean, think of how lucky you are to be able to read! Some people don’t get that oppurtunity… so appreciate everything around you!
So I hope that inspires you to think more positive! I may be an ‘actress’, but I’m still human! I still go through a lot of the same things you do, believe it or not. haha
Alrightey, be sure to look out for the newest issue of Sports Illustrated for Kids! I should have an article/interview in there of some sort. haha
AND I’M SO EXCITED, I GET TO GO TO THE MICHIGAN/OHIO STATE FOOTBALL GAME! WOOT WOOT! CAN’T WAIT!
See y’all
