Get Ready to Rock!
June 19, 2008Camp Rock premieres June 20th on Disney Channel. So for tonight, only for 1.5 hours, forget about saving electricity. Turn on every TV you find and tune into Camp Rock with the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato!
I’ve been having the time of my life meeting new people, doing interviews, and traveling across the country promoting my projects.Â
To fill you in, yesterday I recorded an audio Bible as Martha (Mary’s sister)…other stars like Corbin Bleu, Cody Linley, AnnaSophia Robb, and Emily Osment are a part of it, among others. And after leaving set, my mom informed me that I landed a role (maybe two) in an animated film called Kung Fu Magoo! 
I’ll keep you posted on the projects as they progress.
For now, my GetFitWithAlyson.com site has taken off, so check it out! It’s a positive environment for kids and teens to discuss everything going on in their lives! Hope to see you on there!

I can’t wait for the premiere!! Even though I have already seen the movie every time a commercial comes on disney channel for Camp Rock I freak out. Unfortunately I have to be somewhere really important tomorrow night, but I have it all set up on my DVR so when I get home at 9:00 I will so watch it.
My sister and I stayed up until midnight on monday night because Camp rock was supposed to come on On Demand on tuesday. It was so worth staying up until midnight for and in my opinion Camp Rock was way better than HSM. For me it seemed to have a more relatable message because I can so relate to Demi’s character. I found myself relating to your character throught the movie too. Just the way that Caitlyn saw what was happening and tried to help Mitchie, yeah…there was just something about that that I thought was really cool and inspiring in a way for me.
ANyways…have fun with everything going on in your life and enjoy all of the success there will be from Camp Rock…you deserve it and have earned everything that will happen because you guys truely made an awesome movie!

I have watched both Cheaper by The Dozen Movies and I have them on DVD!! They are awesome!!! I have also watched Phineas and Ferb and it sounds like that show is fun to do. I am so happy that you got to be in Camp Rock with the Jonas Brothers!! They are awesome boys. I am hoping that Camp Rock will be better than High School MUsical 1 and High School Musical 2!!!! I really have a drive to become the best Actress/dancer I can be, and I think a good dancing school or audition is the perfect way to start that. Do you have any recommendations or suggestions of schools or classes or auditions that I may be able to attend w/out an agent? I know I really need to get some experience, but I already have some, I think I just need that little push.

Hey Alyson,camp rock was amazing,before i even knew the jonas brothers were in camp rock,i wanted to see it because i knew u were in it.i think it had a way better storyline than high school musical and it was wayyyyyyyyy better than HSM.you see in HSM 1+2 the story lines were practically the same,and you could predict what was going to happen but with Camp Rock,everything i predicted didnt actually happen,like i thought tess was going to sing mitchie’s song[this is me] in order to trick shane but that didnt happen.this show is awsome and the songs are really good.Well i cant wait to see your other movie Alice Upside Down and i hope that one day you would get your own disney channel original show/series.you know like how demi is going to have hers [welcome to mollywood].also i hope you come to miami fl soon for a meet and greet or something becasue i really wanna meet you,im really a big fan!!you rock alyson and good luck in all your future projects.

Alright so at 28, i’m probably the crazy old lady here, but I LOVEd the movie! My daughter and I watched together and I even cried at the end. It was a great movie and we can’t wait to catch it again tomorrow night on ABC!

You were great in Camp Rock–wish your role had been even bigger! The movie itself borrowed a lot from Mean Girls, I have to say–and I’m not quite sold on Demi Lovato as a leading lady yet–she’s pretty good, but doesn’t have the same sparkle as Lindsey or Hillary yet. When she was grinning at her Jonas brother it felt like she was grinning at her older brother! I’m glad you had fun on this movie–looking forward to more roles for you in the future!

Alyson — I really, really, really love you. I think that you are the best role model that there is for young girls. It’s weird, because you don’t get that much attention from most people, but when people see you act, they instantly fall in love with what a great person you are. You are a much better person than Miley Cyrus! Miley, she’s a s l u t!! She should NOT be a Disney star — Disney USED TO BE an company associated with kids, role models, good shows, etc. But people like Vanessa Hudgens and Miley Cyrus ruined it. I’m glad, though, that there are people like you, Selena Gomez, and Demi Lovato who are upholding the name of Disney. I used to love Ashley Tisdale, and I still do, but I think her music is a bit inappropriate for a Disney star (especially in “He Said She Said”). Don’t get me wrong, Ashley is NOWHERE NEAR AS BAD AS MILEY AND VANESSA, but I think her music isn’t good for a Disney star. I really love you, you are fantastic! I wish I knew you — hey, maybe one day I will — I’m trying to become an actress, too, and I’m pretty young (12), so maybe it’ll happen with Disney after I work on my voice a little bit more. I watched Camp Rock the other day, and I loved it! The acting, singing and dancing were all amazing! I wanted to look up the lyrics and sing along sooo bad, but I have a sore throat and it’s even hard to talk, so I couldn’t sing with it:( I’m not really a singer anywayz, I just like to for fun. I am a dancer though, and I loved the dancing in it:) The only thing I would have wanted to see different is I think you should have got a solo to hear you sing. I’m sure you’re amazing:)

Hey Emily, an audio bible is a bible that a person or several people have read aloud and it has been recorded on cassette tape or CD. There is no video to it – just sound. So you don’t have to read the bible, just listen.

Hey. I just watched the Rock Along Version of Camp Rock. You were really good at acting and singing. I wish they would have let you sing a little more by yourself, though. My style can be super girlie, dressed up, or whatever, and now I’m completey into that style-don’t know a name for it. oh ya, what’s YOUR style? It’s so cool to finally find someone who is my age- ok fine, your about 3 months older!- I always see these shows and movies with people, but they’re never my age!

Alyson, I just have to say that you are an amazing person and I hope that your future ahead of you keeps getting better and better. I think that these episodes that you are working on are a great idea because you are a wonderful role model for many young people, and these people will follow and learn from you by watching Get Fit with Alyson.
